About G

I’m Georgette but people call me G

I’m a design executive who leads global product design teams to turn complex enterprise and healthcare challenges into accessible, elegant systems that scale.

Over 15+ years, I’ve unified fragmented SaaS portfolios, matured design research practices, and built accessibility programs that don’t just meet compliance—they protect businesses and open new opportunities. At IBM, I helped reduce gene discovery timelines from 18 months to 6 weeks by transforming research tools into Watson for Drug Discovery. At Thales, I embedded accessibility-first practices into an IAM platform portfolio spanning 20+ engineering teams across continents.

I’m also a recognized thought leader in accessibility and inclusive design. I speak at conferences like Knowbility’s John Slatin AccessU 2025 and teach graduate students at the University of Texas about designing with and for people with disabilities. My writing explores trust in AI/ML systems, accessibility debt, and the human side of digital transformation.

My teammates call me the “Bridge Builder” because I cultivate radically collaborative relationships across design, engineering, and product. I believe in transparency, humor, and creating cultures where people feel safe to take risks and proud of what they create.

G’s Design Philosophy

My design philosophy is simple: design is the thoughtful creation of an intended outcome. For me, that outcome is a future where technology is trustworthy, inclusive, and built for everyone.
